     May 31st, 2008:It's another cycling update for this one. Yes, I got out of cars and now I'm into yet another hobby involving a wheeled vehicle. This update is known as the firsts and bests entry, since May was a month where I had some things done for the first time as well as breaking some personal bests. Sit back and get your popcorn because it's a long story this time, and mostly words and numbers, not the pretty pictures.

     February 21st, 2008:I hadn't written a new personal entry since April of 2006, so the two new entries this month kind of make up for it. I wrote about my bicycle for the first time on this website, as well as some random stuff about rechargeable batteries too.

     February 4th, 2008: It didn't take too long in the grand scheme of things, here are the 2007 Moab photos. It's not too long from when we plan to have the 2008 trip so I wanted to have the 2007 photos over and done with beforehand.

     October 24th, 2007:So I set a new record for time without any updates, this time going a year and 10 months. I have a good update this time however, I have finally posted the 2006 Moab, Utah offroad trip photos. Yes, we've already had the 2007 trip as well and in fact are only another 5 months from the 2008 trip, but I figure better late than never. Enjoy!

     January 8th, 2006:After about a year with no updates, I finally decided to post up a new photo gallery. In fact I reorganized the order of the galleries on the Photography page to group them categorically a little better. The new photo gallery is the Estes Park gallery which includes pictures from all 3 of my trips there.

     January 16th, 2005:It's been quite a long time since I've posted any updates, and I'm afraid today's update isn't much. All I've updated today is the Sunrise/Sunset photography with two new sunsets. One of them was at Fountain Hills however, which makes for a very nice foreground element for sunsets.

     March 4th, 2004:I purchased a new camera recently, a Canon Digital Rebel. I may write a bit more about that in a personal news page, but for now you can view all my new motorsports pictures online at Autocrossing.com. I also put up a new gallery on this site of some assorted non-automotive photos. You can view them in the Third Assorted Photos Installment for SporkSports.com. I've got a few others that I will be putting online at some point, but they will either be additions to existing galleries or part of another new gallery I'm working on.

     December 17th, 2003:Nothing major today, but I did post over a dozen new movie reviews mainly of movies I've seen in the last two months or so. Since it's the end of the year and everyone is doing "Best Of" type things, I decided to name one of them the official SporkSports best movie of the year even. I'm trying to think of anything else that I can do a "best of" list before the end of the year, but nothing else really came to mind. Worst case scenario, I might pick random threads on messageboards as the best internet discussions of the year. Or possibly a best Strong Bad email of the year. Who knows, we'll see. There should be another update or two in the next couple weeks.

     August 24th, 2003:This has been a pretty good weekend for getting new pictures online! First off, I have updated three of my existing photo areas with brand new pictures and added another entirely new one. Head over to the Photography section and check out the top three categories; Sunsets/Sunrises, Seagulls, and Tonto Natural Bridge. I have new photos for each of those sections. I also completed the Kure Beach photos from my June trip there. You can view those pictures also in the Photography section.

I still have at least two more photo sections I'm working on right now, but as usual, this is a rather time-consuming task since I like to do everything by hand to ensure it turns out exactly the way I like on my web site. I'm not really sure when I'll finish those other photo areas (especially since one of them is categorical, and thus spans about 2 years worth of photos I've taken) but it could be as soon as a few days, or as long as a month or two. That's pretty much as close as I like to narrow it down, lest I end up hopelessly behind schedule.

     July 27th, 2003:Just a real simple update this time. Wrote a couple paragraphs and posted a few pictures in my latest updated on the personal page. Check it out or I'll send Trogdor over to your house.

     May 10th, 2003:Hopefully you clicked on the What's New link hoping to see new photos because you're in luck! I've added a new section to my photography collection. This time it's an assortment of photos I've taken at South Mountain park in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. Yep, after many photo areas of far off places, I decided to do another one a little more close to home. Just go to the photo page and scroll all the way down to see the link to the South Mountain pictures.

     April 20th, 2003:After a month or so of no updates, I have finally written up an update about my GPS and hiking South Mountain. You can find it in the April update on the personal page. Also look for a new photo section devoted to South Mountain some time in the future. I'm not sure exactly when I'm going to create it since I'll probably do a few more hikes this spring before the weather gets downright miserable for hiking.

     March 23rd, 2003:Ok, you may be wondering what the deal is why I haven't updated my web site recently. Well, the short answer is that I purchased for myself a GPS and have been GeoCaching and hiking and doing stuff like that in my spare time and on weekends ever since, instead of actually updating my web site. At any rate, this weekend I finally finished off a new section on the personal page which is listed under the "Features" heading. That's right, more movie reviews! The March 2nd heading is a good hint as to how long it took me to finish it, as well as a general indicator of approximately right before I got my GPS. At any rate, the movie reviews are there. I'll be writing more stuff in a March update as time permits.

     March 2nd, 2003:I'm sure that at some point people will start emailing me wondering what my deal is with sunsets. Yeah, ok, so I like taking pictures of sunsets. I tried to be a little different this time though, and two of the new pictures were taken from my backyard. Rather, they were taken about 500 feet away at the community pool. I also wanted to get some nice sunset pictures from South Mountain but mother nature did not cooperate and provide me with anything except flat, dark clouds this weekend when I went there. I'll post some of the South Mountain pictures up later this week. For now, you can visit the Sunrise and Sunset page and the top three pictures are the new ones.

     February 17th, 2003:The first thing that some of you may have noticed is that I replaced the main photo for the front page. Hopefully no will miss it too much, but if you do, you can still look at it in the sunset photos page. It's the January 30th, 2002 one. The new one is a nice sunset picture I just took today by the community pool for my neighborhood. I realized after putting it there that my site's front page is now a little over-blue, so who knows, maybe I'll replace it in a week or something.

Anyway, I have updated the personal page once again, this time writing about a few of the things I did this weekend including flying my radio control airplane and crushing my roommate and his girlfriend at some basketball. Well ok, crushing is maybe a slight overstatement, but I don't see them creating web pages to write about it, so I get to tell the story as I would like to remember it.

     February 6th, 2003:Another new update to the personal page containing mostly events that actually happened in January. Yeah ok, so I wasn't exactly on top of things during January when it came to keeping my page updated. Anyway, a little bit about SimCity4 as well as an Open Track event that I ran in my hatchback.

     February 2nd, 2003:Just a brief update about my lawn (I'm sure you were all waiting to see the results of The CLAW and the new seeding) as well as a little bit about a ski trip I went on with some friends from work on the personal page.

     January 12th, 2003:Your eyes do not deceive you, I really did just add a new entry to my personal news page today. It had been so long since I wrote anything that there was no shortage of material or photographs. I've also got another batch of movie reviews getting ready for publication, and I'm thinking about breaking out my movie reviews in to their own page, rather than having them mixed in with the regular updates. I'm not quite sure how I want to arrange them just yet since there's probably a hundred thousand other movie review pages out there, so who knows, maybe I'll just roll them in to my next update anyway.

     January 8th, 2003:I have completed posting the photos from my recent Christmas trip to visit my parents in North Carolina. They're mostly taken around the Outer Banks, which is the northern NC shoreline includig the highlight of the trip for me, Kitty Hawk, site of the first successful powered flight. You can see them all on the photo page.

     January 2nd, 2003:Ok, so it's been a little while since my last update. I just got back from a week of visiting my parents in North Carolina and I completed resizing and formatting all the pictures tonight. I won't be able to get all of them up tonight, but I did post up 3 new sunset pictures in the photo area however, 2 of which were from my North Carolina trip.

I will probably be able to finish the rest of the North Carolina pictures and pick out 20 or 25 or so of my favorites by this weekend, but it might take a little longer. I signed up for a NASA event this weekend, so if I discover I have a lot of stuff I want to do to prepare my hatchback for this weekend, that will take precedence. It will be my first time back on a road course since June of '02, and my first time ever at Phoenix International Raceway. Check back for updates in the near future!

     October 22nd, 2002:No detailed updates, although it's worth mentioning that I still haven't gotten my carpet replaced. What a huge pain. I need to follow-up with a damage restoration place tomorrow and get things rolling on that. I hate having my house all screwed up. This past weekend I did a roadtrip as well as went four-wheeling with some friends. I created a photo gallery for it in the photo area. Also, to save space, I blew away the detailed personal updates prior to June of 2002. Any of you who read that stuff have already read it anyway so it was cleared off to make room for new stuff. Some day I might create a personal archive or something to bring back the old entries. For now, they'll just collect dust on my hard drive at home.

     September 30th, 2002:September was a pretty slow month. My house broke another water line though so I have all new flooding pictures. Posted one in my personal update page.

     September 24th, 2002:After much delay, I finally updated the photography page with my San Diego vacation pictures. I tried to just select some of the better pictures from the trip rather than post up a hundred pictures, most of which would be kind of boring and repetative.

     September 9th, 2002:The first of the trip updates is under way.. Added today are a trio of new sunset pictures in the photography page. Later this week I will hopefully complete the whole San Diego trip page. It might be rather large as I took 175 pictures on that vacation.

     September 8th, 2002:Today's personal update is largely dedicated to the review of 16 movies that I've rented recently. Also includes a few recently taken pictures. I still haven't finished the photo area for my San Diego vacation yet, but it's in the works.

     August 25th, 2002:Rather than writing about anything that required me to actually think or be creative, I decided to just post a few pictures today of some really, truly random things. Check it out in the August 25th updated on the me page.

     July 28th, 2002:A brief update to the me section about what I've been up to for the past few weeks.

     July 1st, 2002:My motivation has reached an all-time high, as it's been only a few days and I've already got another update to report. Once again, it's updates to the photo page. First, I have added four more new sunset pictures from the past six months or so. Next I updated my Tonto Natural Bridge gallery with some additional photos from my April 2002 trip with Maralee and Joel. I was also going to do another random photo area but I realized I didn't really have that many interesting pictures to put up anyway. Maybe later.

     June 28th, 2002:I must be on a roll because I already put up another photo area. This time around it's the pictures from my Memorial Day weekend trip to Chicago to visit an old friend of mine. Check out the photo page to see it all.

     June 25th, 2002:I finally put up the May North Carolina pictures on my photo page tonight. Yeah, so it took me almost two months, at least they're all done now. It's without a doubt a lot greener than it was in the winter time.

     April 18th, 2002:So I have been a little lax in putting up new updates and stuff lately. I updated the Personal page with a few paragraphs covering some of the recent events. I know I left a lot out, but I guess that's my own fault for not keeping up.

     March 4th, 2002:I did a little writup about the "Minus Touch" in my latest update to my Personal page. Really just some ranting about not a whole lot of anything, but I needed an excuse to put some thoughts down in writing.

     February 17th, 2002:Updated my Personal page with some pictures and stuff about getting stuff organized around the house and in the garage.

     February 13th, 2002:Also new in the Photography section are the promised pictures from my San Francisco trip. They span a period of 6 days and even include some aerial photos from the flight over there.

     February 6th, 2002:I added some selected pictures from my trip to North Carolina in the Photography area. In the next few days I should be adding all the pictures from my San Francisco trip and possibly some new sunset pictures too.

     January 31st, 2002:Updated my Personal page with a huge update of pictures and writing all about the month of January. This includes my trips to North Carolina and San Francisco as well as a good rant and random filler just so I could have an excuse to write more.

     January 28th, 2002:Updated my Personal page with a real brief description of some of the things that I plan to write about which happened in the month of January.

     December 31st, 2001:Updated my Personal page with some stuff about Christmas and the first Grand Prix of Boston Circle.

     December 20th, 2001:Wrote some information about movies on my Personal page.

     December 17th, 2001:Wrote up a big rant on my Personal page about work and why I'm not having much fun at all.

     December 9th, 2001:Updated my Personal page with another update about my hatchback.

     December 3rd, 2001:Added a sunrise picture to my sunrise and sunset page in the photography area.

     November 28th, 2001:Updated my Personal page with a work update and celebration of an important anniversary.

     November 20th, 2001:Updated the Personal page again with some info about a neat little script I wrote last week and some more stuff about my car. I also added a black and white photo area to my Photography page. I will probably update that page some more in the future, but for now it's kind of a "Best Of" from my one time of using B&W film back in 1998.

     November 11th, 2001:Added a bit about the status and progress of the building of my hatchback as a racecar on my Personal page. I'm probably going to finally start updating my autocrossing site some time soon with all the car stuff rather than littering this site with every little bit about my hatchback.

     November 7th, 2001:I added one of my classic "speed tales" from last summer to the latest update on my Personal page as promised. I also wrote a short commentary about annoying giggling girls and conditioned responses.

     November 1st, 2001:So I'm all bummed out about seeing the Diamondbacks loose their third straight game in the World Series and I decided to do a writeup on my Personal page. It has absolutely nothing to do with baseball, but covers a topic I've kind of wanted to write about every so often. I'm thinking that for my next update I'm going to have to loosen things up a bit and maybe post up one of my old "speed tales."

     October 31st, 2001:I made my final update to my October page in the Personal area with some recap of my real life autocross as well as Gran Turismo 3 races this weekend. I would also like to say that as much as Kim has a really cool pitching style, I can't believe he went and gave up that 2 run homer in the 9th inning with 2 outs. That's really not the way it's suppose to work.

     October 24th, 2001:I decided to do another assorted photo area again tonight. Check it out under the Assorted Photos 2 link on my Photography page.

     October 23th, 2001:Take a guess. Really, it shouldn't be difficult.

     October 14th, 2001:Updated my Personal page again. This time I have a link to rally photos on my car site, a weekend adventure story, another movie review and a preview of some exciting news for later this week.

     October 2nd, 2001:Updated my Personal page with today's highly stressful, "you're about to die" moment.

     September 30th, 2001:Updated my Personal page with the last update for September. Basically just a little bit about prep for the Prescott ProRally / ClubRally which is in a few days.

     September 17th, 2001:Updated my Personal page with stuff about work, Brady's car, my car, and random entertainment.

     September 11th, 2001:Updated my Personal page with reflection on today's terrorist attack both on our nation's capital and the World Trade Center.

     September 3rd, 2001:Updated my Personal page. Also created a new assorted photos section on my photography page. It's an assortment of some of my favorite pictures taken with my digital camera over the past few weeks.

     September 1st, 2001:Updated my Personal page.

     August 24th, 2001:Once again, updated my Personal page.

     August 19th, 2001:Thanks to my new digital camera, I have two new sunset pictures in the photo area now. I suppose at some point I should find someplace other than just my back yard to take these pictures from, but then again the yard is pretty darn convenient.

     August 17th, 2001:Today's update on the Personal page covers my adventures in trying to buy a bathroom scale, and also a little bit about having my front lawn redone.

     August 12th, 2001:Yet another update to the Personal page to recap my week-long vacation. Now includes pictures, thanks to my excellent Kodak DX3500 digital camera! Thanks mom and dad!

     New as of August 7th, 2001: I updated the Personal page to include my first entry about anything in particular. It's just a short little message with a little bit about this site, my autocrossing site, why I created SporkSports, and even a link to the site that inspired me to start it all. Check it out.
